Quinsigamond Elementary School

The Quinsigamond Elementary School features new construction that connects the original 1890 elementary school building with the Quinsigamond Public Library that was built in 1913
The completed project is a state-of-the-art, 600-student educational facility occupying an entire city block
By preserving their exteriors while updating their interior space, these two historic buildings were revitalized and prepared to serve contemporary educational purposes
The project was recognized by the Massachusetts Historical Commission for sensitive design within a significant historic context
