East Park Splash Pad

Key Features

• The City of Worcester desired a new splash pad and oval skating rink at East Park. A splash pad filled with colorful play structures helps visitors stay cool in the summer, and in the winter months, an oval skating rink surrounding the splash pad and festive winter decorations provide more family fun
• A heated pavilion keeps skaters warm while they rest
• The design also includes a new support building with a control center, storage space, first aid area, and restrooms
• Other parts of the plan improve site access from Shrewsbury Street, as well as upgrades to the baseball field, playground area, and fencing
