 LPA|A seeks a creative, collaborative architect/project manager with 10+ years of experience. A nationally recognized firm with a regional focus, LPA|A is playing a key role in the revitalization of Central Massachusetts. To give you an idea of the kinds of projects you might contribute to: Clinton Middle School, Marlborough Elementary School, higher education clients Worcester State University, Quinsigamond Community College, and UMass Amherst. Other projects in construction include the Creative Hub of Worcester and Westborough Public Library.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree
  • Massachusetts registered architect (desirable)
  • 10 + years of experience in an architectural firm, leading a project team
  • The ability to self-direct, to manage multiple tasks and to work well under deadlines
  • Strong communication (visual and verbal) and organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Desired Skills:

  • Strong design skills highly desirable
  • Building technology and construction documents knowledge
  • Experience in contract document production and construction detailing
  • Familiarity with MA public bid laws
  • Sustainable design strategy experience including LEED and/or CHPS experience
  • Familiarity with construction admin processes (submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and punch list)
  • Proficiency/Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
