Richer Elementary Project Moves Forward
Marlborough’s City Council voted unanimously this week to approve local funding in support of a new Richer Elementary School. LPA|A began working with the city in March of 2025 beginning with a feasibility study that looked at options for two different enrollments as well as new construction or addition/renovation options.
The district has selected, and the state’s MSBA has approved, a replacement school to be constructed on the site of the current Richer School. The project now moves into the design development phase, and construction is expected to begin in late 2027 and to open for the 2029/30 school year.
