Peter Caruso Promoted to Firm Principal
LPA|A is announcing the promotion of longtime staff architect Peter Caruso Jr. from Associate Principal to a Principal of the firm. Peter started at LPA|A in 1998, the same year he graduated from Wentworth Institute with his architecture degree.
“Peter embodies the values that we strive for in our work: superior design, exceptional client relationships, and a commitment to our community,” said Managing Director Rick Lamoureux. “I am pleased to welcome Peter to the senior leadership team and appreciate the knowledge, skill, and care he brings to his work.”
With his new role in senior leadership, Peter will take on more firm management responsibilities, including staff development and contractual management. Peter has been a key team member on many projects over his years with the firm, including serving as project manager for Worcester’s South High Community School project, managing multiple projects for Worcester State University, and he is currently managing the team for the Clinton Middle School project.
A lifelong resident of Central Massachusetts, Peter also serves on the board of the local chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute, has a seat on the Planning Board and the Affordable Housing Committee for the Town of Boylston, is a member and advisor for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is also an alumnus from the 2017 class of Leadership Worcester.
“I can’t help but reflect back as I move into this new role at LPA|A,” said Peter. “Starting here fresh out of college, learning on the job from so many skilled and talented colleagues over the years, and now entering the next stage of my career, I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given and excited to further that legacy at LPA|A.”
