Four Staff Members Promoted to Associate Principals
Lamoureux Pagano Associates | Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of Christina Bazelmans, Peter Caruso, Jr., Christopher Lee, and Michael Oldakowski to Associate Principals, and stockholders of the firm.
“One of the keys to our success as a firm has been our commitment to investing in people and working to develop the leadership skills of every member of our team. I am excited to make this announcement today as an important step in developing the next generation of managers for the firm. They are already acting as leaders in their respective roles,” said Katie Crockett, President of LPA|A.
Christina Bazelmans has been with the firm for close to seven years and is a registered architect. In addition to being expert in programming, most recently for Doherty Memorial High in Worcester, she is also managing the Doherty project, among the firm’s largest projects to date. Christina is an active volunteer for Girls Inc. in Worcester.
Registered Architect Peter Caruso, Jr. first joined the firm in 1998. He has taken the lead on multiple projects for Worcester State University and is also currently managing construction administration for South High Community School, one of the largest projects in the firm’s 50-year history. A Leadership Worcester graduate, Peter currently sits on the CSI Board of Directors and the Boylston Planning Board.
Chris Lee has been at the firm for nearly seven years and is a senior team member for the Doherty project, currently taking a lead role in the design process. He has additionally been at the forefront in pushing the firm’s technical capabilities forward. Volunteering for his community, Chris sits on the Ashland Public Schools Building Committee.
Mike Oldakowski joined the firm in 1998 and is assigned to nearly every project the firm takes on, given his unparalleled expertise in construction materials and methods. He is a key member of the team managing construction administration for the Beal Elementary School in Shrewsbury. Mike has contributed significant services to multiple social service endeavors over the years.

Planning for the long-term future of the firm in this way feels especially meaningful in the 50th year since my father founded the company,” said LPA|A Principal Rick Lamoureux. “I am proud to be part of that legacy and to have a role in ensuring it continues.”
