JR Briggs Elementary School

Key Features

The 520-student elementary school serves students in Pre-K through 5^th grade
The school has Massachusetts Collaborative for High Performance School Certification due to a number of sustainable design features, including a wood pellet boiler which reduces reliance on fossil fuels
Innovative features include a specially-designed wing for early childhood and an extended day program
Interactive white boards and 1:1 wireless technology are used throughout the building and common areas outside classrooms provide flexible learning spaces for tutorials and team projects
