Panel Discussion Encourages Community Involvement
LPA|A architect Peter Caruso was recently asked to present to the current class of Leadership Worcester as part of a panel discussion about government and advocacy. Peter was one of three alumni from the program to participate in the discussion and share his recent experience of getting elected to the Town of Boylston Planning Board.
Peter’s participation in Leadership Worcester as a member of the class of 2017 inspired him to get more involved in his town and provided insight into ways that he could contribute to making his community better. Sharing his experience and enthusiasm with the next class will undoubtedly inspire more people to get involved in government, advocacy, and volunteerism. The lively discussion capped a day-long session about government at all levels and the many ways that individuals can participate.
