Volunteer Spotlight: Pam Farley at WEDF
LPA|A Administrator Pam Farley has volunteered for many organizations over the years that have education at the center of their mission. In 2023, Pam joined the board of the Worcester Educational Development Foundation (WEDF) and has served as their treasurer ever since. In her role at LPA|A handling bookkeeping and human resource responsibilities for close to 20 years, her skills were an excellent match for their needs.
The WEDF is a nonprofit focused on supporting the Worcester Public Schools with grants to teachers and programs like Coats for Kids and Learning Through Arts Partnerships, which facilitates educational field trips. WEDF’s goal is to provide access to resources for all students to support their future success.
“I am happy to be able to support the work of the WEDF,” said Pam. “A quality education is so important for future success, and their mission of providing resources for everything from winter coats to musical instruments or funding for sports programs is a great way to set up students for success, removing barriers and meeting kids where they are.”
