The 8th cohort of Leadership Worcester began in September with our own Christina Bazelmans, LPA|A Associate Principal as one of the 28 future and emerging leaders selected to participate. Christina is the third LPA|A architect to be selected through the highly competitive process. Peter Caruso, Jr. was a member of the class of 2017, then Sean Brennan joined the class of 2020.

The program brings people together across a range of industries and backgrounds to learn about the challenges and opportunities in the region and to formulate a plan for how they can have an impact.

The group meets monthly for day-long programs that take them behind the scenes of local government, into nonprofits and local businesses, and in contact with the diverse array of people who comprise greater Worcester. Christina was honored to be selected and is already impressed with the experiences she has had and the insight she has gained from the program’s first two months.

Christina said of the opportunity, “Leadership Worcester is an excellent opportunity to meet future leaders from across all disciplines and throughout the whole City of Worcester. I look forward to forging relationships with other future leaders in the City, so that together, we can work to find more opportunities to build our community.”
