Chris Lee Promoted to Design Director
Associate Principal Christopher Lee has been promoted to Design Director at LPA|A, taking on more leadership responsibilities related to the firm’s architectural design. Chris has been at the firm for more than ten years and has had a key role on a number of significant projects, including serving as project manager on the Doherty High project, opening this Fall.
Among the responsibilities associated with this new leadership role are managing design teams, maintaining the firm’s high standards for design on all projects, and fostering the collaborative and creative design culture that is a core value for LPA|A.
“Chris is a dedicated and principled leader who will carry forward a long-standing legacy of thoughtful and superior design,” said LPA|A Managing Director Rick Lamoureux. “His collaborative work style and openness to new ideas, approaches, and technologies will help push the firm forward without ever losing sight of our core values.”
A graduate of Roger Williams University with a Master of Architecture, Chris is also responsible for vetting and integrating new technology at the firm and leads an in-house group to enhance design and operations through technology. He is also MCPPO certified, a LEED accredited professional and a licensed construction supervisor in the state of Massachusetts.
“I appreciate the trust placed in me to uphold and build upon LPA|A’s design standards and ensure that our work continues to be in alignment with the core values that have guided the firm for more than 50 years,” said Chris. “Being part of a leadership team and a company that prioritizes making a positive difference in Central Massachusetts is incredibly rewarding, and I am excited for LPA|A’s future.”
