So far this year, LPA|A has hosted five professional development programs, presented by experts in their respective fields to continually elevate and maintain the high standards of the firm to stay on top of, and ahead of, emerging technologies. These lunchtime meetings are an opportunity for staff to explore areas of the field that are still developing, but which may also prove relevant to ongoing projects.

The first program in the series was presented by staff from Consigli Construction and gave attendees some background and firsthand experience with the virtual reality tools that are becoming more widely used in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry. Other presentations have explored photovoltaic controls, fireproofing, and sustainable site design.  The most recent program in the series was presented by sustainable design consultant The Green Engineer, who discussed the requirements of the WELL Building Standard.
